TECHNICAL SUPPORT

All presentations must be handed over to an ESES organization staff member no later than the morning of the presentation so as to allow sufficient time for the technical team to install the required technical and visual supports. All speakers a required to bring along with them a copy of their presentation on a USB key, CD Rom or any other common computer storage device.

ABSTRACTS

Abstracts should be sent before February 15, 2011 to both Professor Jean-Louis Peix (CHU Lyon) and Professor Jean-Louis Kraimps (CHU Poitiers) at the following email addresses:

Abstracts should correspond to a one page summary (no more than 500 words) and should be presented as follows:

• Title
• Summary
• Name of the author(s)
• Contact details of the team in charge of presenting the abstract

BADGES

All registered participants are welcome to pick up their badges at the Sofitel Hotel Lyon Bellecour at the Registration Desk located in the hotel lobby. Please note that the admission to the ESES Workshop 2011 is strictly reserved to registered participants. Participants are therefore required to wear their badges at all times during the congress. In the case of a lost badge a new badge may be requested at the Registration Desk during opening hours.

SNACKS AND DRINKS

Snacks and drinks may be purchased from 07.00am to 10.00pm at the Lobby Bar located in the lobby of the Sofitel Hotel Lyon Bellecour. The Melhor Cocktail Bar located on the 8th floor will also be open from 12.00pm to 12.30am for after workshop hour drinks. A morning and an afternoon break have been included in the detailed program where beverages and snacks will be served to all registered participants free of charge.

LANGUAGE

The official language of the ESES Workshop 2011 is English. There will be no simultaneous translation available.

SMOKING

Smoking in public areas in France is prohibited since January 2008. Smoking will only be permitted in designated reserved areas as well as outdoors.

STAFF

Staff members and hostesses will be available to welcome and guide all participants and answer any questions. Staff members will be easily recognizable by designated badges. Please do not hesitate to reach out to them throughout the entire congress; it is our great pleasure to assist you and contribute to the successful unfolding of the ESES Workshop 2011!
